The Plant You WON’T Kill

I do NOT have luck with houseplants.  I kill them.  I kill them all.  It’s not pretty.  I mean I literally have killed the so called “Closet Plant”.  You know the one…the one that they send instead of flowers to a funeral with the white blooms.  I’ve killed that one.  But now I’ve found the one! The one that I can’t kill.  Do you know why I can’t kill it?  Do you know why it thrives in my home?  Because you only have to water it 6 times a YEAR.  Introducing the ZZ Plant.  Go getcha one.  You plant killer you.

holy crap! I am a serial plant killer too! I need this plant! How much sunlight does it need though?

@Tina I have it in indirect sunlight…its basically in our foyer and there is light that streams in from above but its limited. And its going strong I tell ya! I got mine at a local nursery.

That looks like some plants I have around my house called called cardboard palms (I thought), but I looked it up and I think what I have is these ZZ plants. I love them.

@Laurin hmm I’ve never heard of a cardboard palm but I looked one up and it looks like the leaves are a little bit pointier than the kind of plant I have. But they look VERY similar!
