I know we’ve done wine before on Hump Day but I wanted to share my latest fav in terms of Pinot Grigio and its called Crane Lake. It’s very light and it’s very cheap.
I started getting this wine at my local sushi place and loved it…so much so that I asked the waiter if he’d bring me the bottle so I could take a picture of the label so that I could go to the liquor store and get a bottle for myself. Well, of course our liquor store (I’m talking to you Specs Liquor Warehouse) didn’t have any in stock, but asked if I’d like to order some and I said HELL YES I DO! How many bottles do you ask? I’ll take 6 please. One of which Court consumed all on her own. It’s good stuff I tell ya! Go have a glass or 4.

Oh wine…how I love thee! Ever tried plum wine at your local sushi place? Pretty sweet but complements spicy stuff so nicely!
@Christen I’m not huge on sweet wine but I am huge on spicy sushi, so I may have to try it out!
I was skeptical, but try a glass and if you hate it switch back to your favorite
It does offset the spicy stuff nicely, I think.
Yes this old WINES tale is true. I consumed this entire bottle of wine to myself, without getting prior permission. So I was drunk and a rebel.

@ak, you like that??? Similar to old wives tale, but wines tales are often true. Just hard to remember
@Court: I will have to remember WINES tale. And, I too have consumed a whole bottle. That usually results in “Whoa, hey” drunk. Like, where you stand up and have to steady yourself.
