I used to love the HELL out of my cheesy ass beanbag. I literally loved it to death. Beans (white Styrofoam pellets) EVERYWHERE. After that, I’m pretty certain of a couple of things:
#1 I got cooler. #2 beanbags stayed the same level of coolness and/or dropped.
BUT…what I’m finding is that they’ve made a comeback? Or maybe got cooler? When did this happen? You tell me, do I need one of these?

Ooh, we had a black beanbag chair in our dorm room freshman year and thought we were such hot stuff! We were the girls with the area for entertaining! With our mini-fridge and microwave! Ah, I loved reading in that chair.
@christen: I just might do it. I love a good book and a good chair and this really lends itself to lounging. My son got a video rocker that I thought would be great for reading. Not.so.much.

I really love how these new-and-improved “bags” are less like unsupportive/ amorphous blobs and more like actual chairs (with chic fabric to boot)! if i weren’t so cheap, i’d def be in the market for one of these guys…
@michelle, thats the thing with me, i’m cheap as well. maybe i’ll wait for ikeas version of this? lemme know if you find anything worthwhile!
