Fabulous Footwear Friday

Who owns a pair of these?  Do I need them?  While at ACL, I saw a bagillion diff pairs (on girls and guys) and styles and I’ll tell you they are growing on me.  Crushing hard on this particular pair.  Perfect for the fall!

I Want My Nephew In One Of These…

As most of you know, my sister Der recently gifted me with the cutest nephew I could ever wish for. Ever since I was notified of his impending arrival I couldn’t help but look at all the cute baby outfits out there and imagine him in them. It has gotten even worse since he made his debut.  Take Halloween for instance.  Now, I know its not practical to dress up a 3 week old baby in a costume, but I can’t help but think his cuteness level would be off the charts in any one of these…

Shelved

The room we’re using for our nursery is the size of a shoebox small, so I’ve been trying to come up with creative ideas for storage, specifically a place to store books. I mean, I feel like I would be starting this whole motherhood thing off on the wrong foot if I had no books for my child…

I Have An Announcement

So, I’m not sure if I have ever formally introduced you to this man, but he’s an avid music lover, a gamer for life, a hippie, a great therapist and my own personal comedian.  He’s the apple of my eye.  Every day is a dynamite day with this guy in my life!

Oh by the way, it’s his birthday today.

I’d like you to join me in wishing Ben a very happy birthday.

Hump Day Happy Hour: Punkin Ale

Chocolate Fix

I am not generally a chocolate person. I don’t like chocolate ice cream, chocolate pudding, chocolate cake, or plain chocolate candy (gotta have some nuts or something in it :) ) But I LOVE brownies. If you put a pan of brownies in front of me, I guarantee you I will eat the whole pan more than one. Needless to say I don’t get brownies often. But I have discovered the answer to my chocolate prayers.  I found these at my local HEB (grocery store here in Texas) and they solve my dilemma quite nicely. Real brownie pieces in a 100 calorie pouch. Just enough to quiet my craving but not enough to expand my waistline.  Not to mention they taste soooo good…

Lolita

Lolita glasses are probably the coolest thing since sliced bread. I started receiving the martini glasses as gifts awhile back, and once I was introduced to the rest of the Lolita line, I have have given them as gifts myself! They make great hostess gifts, Christmas gifts, birthday gifts, engagement gifts…the list goes on, and on, and on…oh yeah, and each Lolita glass comes with a cool cocktail recipe written on the bottom, how cool is that?

  2. Dirty Martini
  3. Wedding Champagne Set: (I gave these to Der and her hubby when they got engaged…aren’t they cute!?!?!)
