I was suspicious at first (never a big yam fan) but you bake a layer of yams, layer of dried apricots, repeat for two more layers and top with pecans and OH MY GOD SO GOOD PASS THE YAMS. It’s not sickly sweet, and easy to make. According to my stepdad, at least 🙂
