Summa Summa Summa Time http://tipsysociety.com/2010/03/summa-summa-summa-time/ http://tipsysociety.com/2010/03/summa-summa-summa-time/#comments Thu, 18 Mar 2010 19:00:09 +0000 http://tipsysociety.com/?p=3037 Its right around the corner and that means we need to get started with all of outdoor decor.  Just like all of the Tipsy Girls, I love to have people over and to entertain.  Being that I just moved into a new abode and am really focused on my outdoor scenery, I’ve been doing a lot of searching to spruce up the outside decor at my casa.

Here’s my top ten:

  1. Ceramic Beverage Dispensers – These are a very simple and colorful way to hold sun tea or your favorite summer cocktail.
  2. Bamboo Chairs – Bamboo, outdoor chairs.  Do I have to explain myself again?  This.is.so.me. I Also like this look because they are resilient and versatile AND bamboo is extremely durable (bamboo is stronger than lots of steel…whaaa?)
  3. Outdoor Votive Holder – They are on my to do list.  So simple, so affordable.
  4. Rain Chain Buckets -These are actually designed to adorn unsightly drains on your the outside of your home.  I also thought they would also work well hanging from a porch or patio.
  5. Side Table – I just purchased some cheap as hell discounted Adirondack chairs from Big Lots and am looking for some side tables to spruce these chairs up.  I may have found the answer here.  Hopefully LLBean will decide to have an LLClearance soon:).
  6. Glazed Fire Pot -This thing is mine and awesome. ‘Nough said.
  7. Smart Solar Sphere – I love these solar powered gadgets.  They know when to come on and off and they recharge themselves.  Can’t get any better than that!
  8. Solar Powered House Numbers – A lot of us have house numbers on the street, mailbox, house, lawn.  But these really caught my eye.  These have solar powered LEDs that you program with your street number and place where you please.  TOO COOL.
  9. Hanging Lanterns – If those don’t make the cut for outside, they are cute enough to go on my nightstand.  Love the colors.
  10. Coca Cola Light Set – Such a fun and classic touch to any area outside.  And did I mention cheap?

So, everyone at my place tomorrow?

Christmas Wishlist: CR Edition http://tipsysociety.com/2009/12/christmas-wishlist-cr-edition/ Mon, 14 Dec 2009 20:00:56 +0000 http://tipsysociety.com/?p=1595 So a few of these are completely outrageous, because I can’t imagine spending the $.  But in a world where money didn’t matter, here is a list of the things I want to see under my tree.

  1. Z Gallerie Lithe Vases ($14.95 – $18.95) – simple, yet intricate.  Would be perfect for my bamboo!
  2. Hello Kitty Ceramic Watches ($995 – 2900) – yes, I am 29 and 3/4’s and am an admitted Hello Kitty junkie.  These watches are too cute.
  3. Urban Outfitters Head Band ($18.00) – not even sure this would look good on me, just seems really unique and funky, like me.
  4. Yellow Strauss Toms (54.00) – fun and funky.
  5. Tyler Diva Scented Candle ($17.95) – I am just obsessed with these candles and this scent.
  6. Ikea Red Clock ($29.99) – love love love this cute little ticker.
  7. Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave ($79.99) – this is a want, definitely not a need.  But if I could pick any out there, this wireless mouse and keyboard surely have my vote.
  8. Rotating Spheres Arc Floor Lamp ($79.99) – I am certain this would complete my house’s transformation to an Asian wannabe home.
  9. Pottery Barn Fruitwood Pillar Holders ($22.99) – too cute, very simple.  I love candles and am sure I would be able to find some which would a nice reason to have these around.
  10. Ivy Mirror and ID Case ($16.00) – did I also ever mention that I am notorious for constantly misplacing my ID, debit card, keys, mind, and sanity.  Think this will help???
  11. Puma Hoodie ($69.00) – did I ever mention I am obsessed with Hoodies?  Any of the Tipsy girls can attest to this.  I am convinced this is the perfect hoodie for me.
  12. Oh and did I mention this little guy (priceless) – no comment :).
