I have a few go-to outfits in the sweltering heat that is summertime of Houston, Texas. I told you about the bermudas a while back and now it’s time I went into the even more comfortable combo of a tank, a skirt and a flip flop. I dressed this one up a little for y’all with an actual sandal, but just know I’ll be sporting the $2.00 flip flops that I have lived in all summer long.

This is pretty much my summer uniform too. (It’s supposed to be 110 today – HELP!) I’ve been rotating various tank/skirt combos and sundresses. Now I need to run to Target for that skirt-will be perfect for my niece’s birthday party this weekend in another equally sweat-inducing city!
I definitely want this tank STAT!
Alrighty, I went to Target today and the skirt was on clearance! Score! There were quite a few in various sizes, though, but it’s hard to say no to an $11 skirt. The pockets were a bit poufy at first and made me look extra wide but I flattened them out and it’s super cute. I think I’ll be rocking that while I sip margaritas this weekend.
Sadly the tank was about two feet too long for a shorty like me but it is super cute!
