Have y’all heard about the new nail color for fall? Grey or Gray whichever way you want to spell it. I think I’m actually going to try it out. I’m usually an OPI Bubble Bath kinda gal, though I did venture into a two week experiment with lavender this summer and I will sometimes bust out the OPI Red when I’m feeling sassy. But I do think I want to try out this grey trend for sure, I’m just waiting on my nail place to get some greys in stock. Have y’all tried this out? What color have you used?

I’ve used #5 and love. I usually wear dark…Lincoln park after dark…but grey was my summer black 🙂

I never get manis (nail biter, but I have reformed – all for the wedding!) but am a pedi freak. My favorite is OPI’s Don’t Socratease Me (currently on my toes, a fun irridescent pink-orange) but I also love I’m Not Really a Waitress (fabulous red, my winter go-to). This is the 2nd place I’ve read that gray is the new “it” color but I’m not sure how it would look against my pasty skin? I’m getting a mani-pedi next week before the wedding and need a color for my hands…maybe this is it? Or will I regret doing something trendy? My mom has already advised me to do something “classic and simple” like a French pedi since my toes will be visible. Help, Tipsy Gals and Readers!
@Christen I prob wouldn’t do grey for the wedding…but that’s totally just me! But I’m also not a fan of the french pedi either…I’m pretty pasty myself 🙂 So I feel ya on that one… I’d go with some sort of burgundy color or something on your toes–or just go with what feels like YOU! You know?

I’ve only tried OPI’s You Don’t Know Jacques, which is a little darker. I love the grey trend!
I did a French pedi once when I was a bridesmaid, actually, and it looked OK. Not the most exciting, but fine. And my goal for the next 8 days is to keep my mom happy, and if a French pedi does it, great. What should I do for my hands? I think my brainpower is shot at this point. 🙂

@Christen I seriously love the hell out of Bubble Bath for my fingernails. Its a really subtle neutral pinkish color. My absolute fav with my pasty complexion. You might get them to do one nail of it to see what it looks like on you.
Thanks for the suggestion! A light pink sounds perfect, but there are so many options at the salon. I’ll give it a try and let you know how it goes!
@Christen awesome, let me know if you like it. My mom doesn’t like it but she’s more olive complexion than me so…I think its a pasty girl polish for sure.
