My beautiful, ever so youthful, Aunt has introduced all the women in my immediate family to this handy device: The Clarisonic. It all started when my Mother asked her big sister what her skin-care regimen was, (Seriously, my Aunt has the complexion that every woman hopes to have when they’re 50) and out popped this handy device! At first I was skeptical…I mean…it’s $150 and can it really make THAT big of a difference….?
Here’s the proof:
Before you run out and invest your hard earned $$$ in this thing, I would suggest you try one of the cheaper knock-offs, which is what I did.
- Neutrogena Wave Duo
- BeautiControl Microderm Abrasion Facial Buffer (This is what I used.)
I fell in LOVE with the way the BeautiControl buffer made my face feel…so fresh, sooooo clean!
A couple weeks ago I was gifted with the ACTUAL Clarisonic and I will testify that I see a HUGE difference in the way my skin feels and looks without make-up. I’m hooked, and will never look back!!!
Ok…I have been a skeptic and putting it off. I am a hardcore believer in Cetaphil and keeping it simple, but everyone is raving about this thing!
Hi, Just wanted to say that I’m a new reader but I truly enjoy reading this blog! Ok – onto the Clarsonic…my dermatologist recommended that I start using this and I’m totally hooked! I absolutely love it and not a day goes by that I don’t use this thing! I bought my off the internet for considerably cheaper than what Sephora sells it for so check out some of the online stores before running out and buying it at the mall!
@Tina: Take my suggestion and get a cheaper one. I’m almost positive you’ll fall in love with it and then just think, the actual Clarisonic is 10x better!
@Tracy: Thanks for the suggestion and for reading the Blog!
I know there are a lot of different types of the Clarisonic that vary in price. I have the Clarisonic Plus, which retails for $225, but my Mom found it onlne for $125, I think. So glad to know the word is spreading about these things!!!!
