- Court: Revlon Matte Lipstick, Mauve It Over-I love the matte look, its goes with every.single.color combo I use with my makeup–even when I experimenting with bold eyes or natural looks.
- Der: Chanel Lip Glossimer, Giggle-I know I preach frugalista til the death of me on Tipsy and this definitely doesn’t fit the bill on that. BUT I purchased this lip gloss over 2 years ago and it’s still truckin and it’s still my favorite neutral for everyday wear.
- AK: Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Lip Color, Slopes-I’m a fan of matte finish lipstick. I hoard lipstick, if I’m being honest. This is my long running fav…I know the site says its a flushed red but to me it’s more like a toned down neutral-ish plum kind of color. It’s really creamy and smooth going on and I just love the shade.
- Sarah: Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer, Fig-I’m more of a chap stick wearer than a lip stick or gloss wearer because I don’t like the way it feels. The Burts Bees is perfect because it’s my favorite chap stick and just a hint of color so I don’t look washed out.
Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (I think it’s also now a gloss?) is really universally flattering and pretty matte and non-drying. Don’t be scared by the dark appearance; it looks good on me, my BFF, my mom and my stepmom. None of us look alike at all. You can layer it a bit for a more intense color, but it’s really natural. I also love Mary Kay lipstick in Shell for matte and Sweet Nectar for a little shimmer. Hi, I am addicted to lip products.
I love Neutrogena lip sheers (I think that’s what they call it) it’s a sheer hit of color, with a nice sleek minty lip balm/gloss underneath. I wear a great color called “Berry,” which is a nice neutral pink
I also love the basic all-purpose Kiehl’s lip balm.
Yes, Giggle is a classic gloss and you can’t argue with the quality of Chanel. I also really like Laura Mercier lip glace in baby doll. It’s a good pink without being too pink.

You guys are feeding my addiction to lipsticks…I want to try all of these. @Christen I do own the Clinique Black Honey and love it. @Di I am always in search of the ultimate “Berry” shade, so I’m gonna check that one out. @Tina I’m dying to check out these Laura Mercier lip stains! Bright red! Can’t wait!
I love the Bare Escentuals Buxom lip polishes – Sandy (light pink) and Gabby (plum). I don’t like a solid lipstick-y color because I’m an eye makeup junkie and try to do a light lip if I’m doing a made-up eye, so these are nice and sheer and fit the bill.
@Amanda I’m very interested in trying out the Gabby shade in an effort to purchase all plum shades on the universe.
