Oh the Memories!

When I think memory foam, I think my bed. Well, this memory foam is for another set of pillows if ya know what I’m sayin. Who the hell knew they made memory foam bras? Um, not me. Until recently, I was wearing the standard mattress and box springs I guess. This bra provides that same fluffy weightless feeling for the ladies and gimmick or not… I LIKE it.

Target, Memory Foam Full Coverage Bra

Best. Strapless. Bra. Ever.

So we all know I’m a fan of Soma Intimates right? You didn’t? Catch up please!  So when I came to the realization that my strapless bra was hanging onto its last leg I decided to hit up my local Soma store and see what they had to offer.  I asked for a recommendation and was told this was the most comfortable strapless bra. I was all ok ok sure I’ll try that one, what else you got?  So I made my way into the dressing (ramming the stroller into all the walls to get it maneuvered in) and tried on what turned out to be TRUE! I’m telling you this really is super comfy.  It has these silicon strips at the top and bottom to hold everything in place and it holds the girls up AND it manages to be comfortable at the same time.  For the record I’m not a flat chester so this will work for even you big bosomed gals.  I not only purchased the soft tan but the black also because it was THAT worth it.  And you know what? It’s on sale! Run! Don’t walk!

Work it Out

So me and my Tipsy Girl Court have been on a work out kick for the past 8 or 9 weeks. We joined our local YMCA and have been doing everything from spinning to boot camp, to basic cardio and weights. The main thing that we’ve taken away from our workouts is a) it’s nice to have a friend that keeps you honest and makes you go to workout, even when you don’t want to and b) the Y has given us an outlet for our ADD selves so we don’t get bored.

These are some of my workout basics:

  1. Nike, Shox Turbo: I’m a huge fan of this shoe. I got my first pair of shox two years ago and I think those need to be replaced with these awesome green ones!
  2. Academy, Soffe Cotton Rib Tank: These are $6.99, need I say more?
  3. Academy, BCG Razorback Bra: Just to keep the girls in line.
  4. Academy, Nike Field Pants: I typically do NOT work out in pants because I don’t like to sweat and I feel like they always make me sweat more (I know, I know, I’m weird). These are great (only if I have to) workout pants because they are not tight (I’m a bit booty girl and those cute yoga tights do nothing for me).
  5. Academy, Nike Tempo Shorts: You know that embarrassing sweaty ass mark, aka SWASS, (I’m just being honest) you get when you’re really working hard? These shorts DO NOT show that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
  6. Academy, Nike Dri-Fit T-shirt: Similar to the shorts, this shirt doesn’t show sweat marks so people can go on believing that us girls don’t sweat like pigs…OH, and this shirt keeps you nice and toasty when the weather is less than optimal outside.

Tipsy Favs: Bra Edition

Us Tipsy girls think alike a lot of the time and that’s what makes us such a great combo, but there are some instances where our favorite of a certain item is completely different from one another. Bras, for instance.. some of us want a lil umph, some wanna tame those bad boys, and some just go out seeking comfort.  So, here they are…..The Tipsy Girls’ Favs: Bras.

  1. AK: Soma Intimates, Travelers Allurer Bra– Full coverage and seamless…and perfect for under a tshirt. Sounds good to me!
  2. Sarah: Victoria’s Secret, Dream Angels Demi Bra– Oh, that Sarah, she’s a sassy one. This one boasts a little lift, a little sex appeal and a little omgsocute.
  3. Court: Warners, Elements of Bliss Modal Wire Free Contour– Sleek, comfy and disappears under the clothes. Sign me up!
  4. Der: Target, Gilligan O’Malley Demi Bra with Lace Wings– Some cuteness with the lace, but some smoothness for the tshirt girl that I am. I’m also a huge fan of this one.
