Next up on the Tipsy Wedding Project front is SHOES! Bridesmaid shoes that is… Something each of us hold near and dear. Christen is having two maids of honor and they are wearing two different dresses, both in Truffle. Here is one. Here is the other. So here goes with our shoe suggestions….
- Sarah-I would choose either the yellow or red shoe to wear with the bridesmaids dresses. These are fun, sassy, and tie into the fall colors nicely.
- Court-I love Nina shoes. I go to them for almost every semi formal/formal occasion as I feel they make an elegant statement but are simple enough you can re-use if you wanted. These peep toe with the bow aren’t over the top, but will give a fun touch to each of the maids dresses. I would go for the GOLD color, literally, but she mentioned her hubby to be loved navy. Wouldn’t that be a cute combo of color? The navy shoes?
- Der-I wore these exact same shoes (in cosmic dust) to my rehearsal dinner and let me tell you… the most comfortable shoes EVER. I could literally run a 5k in these heels. The price tag isn’t too bad and they are cute too! I clipped on a hair flower to the center of the toes for extra flair, so that could be an option as well.
- AK-I’m going to say go with a basic brown and then play up your fall colors in the jewelry the girls wear but we’ll get to the jewelry in a later post.
Tell us your fav!
I just bought #3 last week for my own wedding in September. They’re super comfortable, even for me with my flat feet!
I still need shoes, too, actually so this is sort of helping me 🙂 The girls can wear Crocs for all I care but Mama needs some sassy wedding shoes! Kidding. I want them to look and feel fabulous (because they are) and these are awesome ideas.
@Christen when we were doing this post 2 of us did YOUR shoes and then 2 of us did bridesmaids shoes! So we definitely have ideas for you for your shoes. We can do that also!
Ha! You are awesome! Seeing as how I am shoe-obsessed that would make me happy. 🙂
I have a confession to make, when reading Court’s discription of “Nina’s Shoes” I read “Ninja Shoes” I got really excited for a second then re-read. Not as excting but still I really like the Nina shoe that was chosen.
