I’m beginning to think that my love for chambray could very well trump my love of stripes in the very near future. Could that really happen??? Well, I am coveting all of these chambray pieces hard core right now for my whole family.
I’m over summer. I’m over my summer clothing options. Shorts. Tees. Flops. BLAH. We won’t be seeing fall for some LONG time around here, but that has not stopped me from browsing things to wear in not 1021544 degree temps. That brought me to these delicious finds at Alloy. Adorable, check it.
I must admit I have never played on a legit sports team in my life… I once did a very brief stint in my childhood as a fill-in outfielder for a softball team and quickly realized I was much better suited for dancing and gymnastics. In fact, my jersey that day was number 00, which happened to be very well suited for my performance. This doesn’t keep me from enjoying the baseball uniform look of a raglan tee, in fact I love them. Here are some super cute versions.
I have always been a clotheshorse. I love to bargain shop and love reinventing my old clothes with new pieces, etc. Being pregnant has thrown a wrench in that habit somewhat, but honestly it just makes me more creative.. looking for pieces that will allow for a baby bump. These flowy vests are EVERYWHERE. I haven’t yet purchased one of these, but I see some room for a bulging baby between that flowiness… don’t you?
I love me a summertime maxi dress, but I don’t love the prices of my usual, “go to”, store. (aka JCrew) So, I’ve been on the hunt for some new maxi dresses on the cheap and here are some gems that I found:
On a side note, I literally get TONS of comments when I wear my maxi dresses, so pick you up one of these, go out in public, and let your ego get stroked a little…it never hurts! 🙂

Sunglasses are not something I’m willing to shovel out a ton of cash on. Well, it’s because I’ll just scratch them, break them, lose them, or see like 57 pairs that I NEED to own.
