I am always on the hunt for a good crossbody bag.
For the fall/winter season, I am trying to decide between these 5 fabulous finds!

I owe all the credit to this post to my one and only babyson Austin (7 yr old). He assisted in the creation of his wish list of clothing items. We already scooped up the Keen’s, so #5 is already being worn!
As its getting colder, the clothes are getting even cooler!
What was yours?
All items for costume we either hand made or non-Halloween-Costume-Store finds (silver glove with sequins glued on, black wind pants, white tank, used white button down, borrowed black curly wig, black dress shoes).
My 7 year old, Austin, is going to love the Toms Youth line. Funky and friendly. In case you didn’t know, Toms donates a brand new pair of shoes to a child in need every time you purchase a pair.
Going with the Remarque Youth Toms for Austin!
Here are my picks from their fall arrivals….
I’m personally not a huge fan of scarfs, but for those who are, the Ruffled Up Scarf in Red looks like its super cute! Love, love this store.
I love the simplicity of Stella and Dot’s flair. They are all about helping busy, strong women thrive and look their best. Here are just a few items that I am in love with at the moment.
In addition to having great jewelry, they also have a great blog with tips, pics, and even videos on the most up to date looks.
They are comfortable and cute and did I mention…they are earth friendly, vegan, natural, made with organic cotton, hemp, recycled inner tubes and recycled tires?
I found the CUTEST, most comfortable flats in the sale section of Simple, for under $15! They offer free shipping, great shoes, and an even better message:
HOW we make our shoes is just as important as WHY we make them. That means finding more sustainable ways of doing business so we can make a gazillion more.
Which pretty much is where we are today… at the crossroads of here and now, aware of our responsibility to the planet while trying to pay the bills. The nice little shoe company getting in touch with its inner hippie.
All the great things are simple!
Simple, Women’s Shoes
Curly hair –I have it and it’s nuts, but I really love it!
Call it what you will (Poodle head, Shirley Temple, Curly Fry, Krusty Lion Head, Carrot Top, Side-show Bob, Medusa, Nappyheaded Monster), curly hair is certainly a gift to embrace. Don’t deny it–if you do, it’ll bite back.
I generally have to rotate through a combination of products/brands to get my hair in the condition I need, but recently I started trying an entire line that I am completely diggin’.
John Freida pretty much invented products for trying to tame our beasts, but these latest few products leave my mop lookin’ real nice! Soft, but not frizzy. Defined, but not crunchy.
Here they are in order of when I use them…
The best thing about this line is the price tag. All four can be purchased for a total of around 20 dollars at your local CVS, Walgreen’s, or grocery store.
Hollla! First post for me!
First things first–I am not necessarily a “girly girl” . Some even have called me “sporty”. One brand I am continually absorbed in is Converse. Maybe because they have been around since the early 1900’s or maybe just because they ROCK, who knows–but everyone seems to have a connection to Converse, aka Chuck Taylor‘s .
At some point in time people actually played basketball in these and now in the pop-culture circuit Converse have always kept themselves current–with nothing more than their simplicity.
My latest affair is Converse’s ability to make your own pair of Converse, any style. High-top, Low-top, Drop-top.–Converse is giving you full reign.
