Hump Day Happy Hour: Raspberry Lemonade

It’s hot outside and this is an easy, yet refreshing, drink!

  • With 1 glass of Simply Lemonade with Raspberry

Children’s Art Project

The Children’s Art Project is a non-profit organization that M.D. Anderson Cancer Center put together in order to benefit children’s cancer research. I truely believe in this cause and the things they sell are super-cute because the kids actually draw all of the images used on all the products. I’m especially in LOVE with all the stationary…you should check it out and help the kids out at the same time!

On the Road Again…and again…

I’m on the road a LOT…my parents, sister, and a lot of my best friends live far, far away from me and it seems like I’m ALWAYS on the road. Jams are very important on the road and these are a few I can’t seem to get enough of these days. They might be oldies, but they’re also goodies!

Zit Zapper

Aquaphor is I swear a miracle product. I use this stuff on my chapped lips, on my cuticles, on anything really and I’m aways happy with the results. However, I JUST NOW realized that you can put these on your unsightly blemishes and it cuts the healing time in half!!! (I found this out after my skin decided to revert back to its 14 year old self..)

Zak Attack

Has anyone ever heard of this Zak brand, and, if so, is it good?  I have been seeing this brand at every boutique store I go to and am in LOVE…please tell me you love it…or hate it…! 🙂

Sleepy Friday

That title is the UNDERSTATEMENT of the century; however, I need to admit something to all the readers…I LOVE kitchy, stupid, kid-like PJ pants! Nick and Nora happen to be my favorite brands, and while they have much cuter options at the Target stores, I would rock these any night of the week…

Pair these w/ a simple tank, which is my standard, and you have a fun and youthful PJ that will last a LONG time…trust me…

Haircare Products Revisited

All the Tipsy girls inspired me the last time we posted on our haircare routines…they inspired me SO much, that I actually ventured out beyond the brand of Redken and I’ve made some pretty great finds!

  1. Kenra, Clarifying Shampoo: I like this shampoo because it does feel like my hair is stripped from all the daily pollutants, but this is a REALLY thin shampoo so I tend to use more of it…
  2. David Babaii, Hydrating Shampoo: The smell and price of this shampoo cannot be beat…that’s all I have for this one!
  3. Moroccanoil, Hair Treatment: Ok, this is expensive…at $14 for a .85 oz bottle I was VERY skeptical. However, I’ve had this .85 oz bottle for 2 months and have barely used a 1/4 of it. Just a dab in your hair before you blow dry and it will leave your hair both hydrated and manageable…I am truly in LOVE with this product.
  4. Kenra, Volumizing Spray: Ladies, this is not an everyday spray, BUT, when you’re feeling sassy and want a cute up-do or pony tail…this is your hair spray…it smells good, it holds everything in place, and adds some sassy sheen!
