I love finials because a) they are a GREAT alternatives for decorative accents when I get sick of having candles and/or picture frames setting EVERYWHERE and b) they just look cool!!!

We had a little thing called Hump, Dominate, and Rip Off Zoe’s Collar Fest 2010 in the Der household (courtesy of Luca hitting puberty) rendering my sweet little ZoZo with no collar on several occasions. Well, a collar that was gnawed to shreds, leaving her to look like a homeless, stray raggamuffin. Luca got himself a little operation and Mama got on Etsy to find Zoe a new collar for the tenth time. And boy did I hit the jackpot!
Ok Ladies, do I have a treat for you today! Featured here are some goods from My Sunset Road Etsy shop. There are a pair of earrings shown here that I want so bad I can taste it! And do you want to know the kicker about this shop? My Sunset Road earrings have been featured on Grey’s Anatomy!! Yup, McSteamy’s daughter wore some, Callie wore some, and Little Grey wore some. How cool is that?
So it’s no secret that I’m a clean freak, and there’s nothing worse than glasses on furniture WITHOUT coasters…I think these coasters scream PUT YOUR GLASS ON ME!!!
Coco + Milkweed is today’s Etsy Spotlight. I’ve purchased the top two bibs from this store and absolutely love them. They’ve definitely taken a beatin’ and kept on tickin’. I love all the fabrics that are used, they aren’t your normal everyday types of themes but they can definitely be your normal everyday types of bibs. Bibs with style baby!
By the way…Coco + Milkweed sells other items as well, I’m just partial to the bibs.
I love my front door. It’s actually one of my favorite aspects of my new home, but who says I can’t fancy ‘er up a little bit more… I am partial to #1, but y’all already knew that!
Have you been wanting some Mad Men-esque attire? I have the place for you ladies!! Porshe’s Place is all about all things vintage…skirts, dresses, coats, you name it! I adore all things tea length and full skirted due to the proportions of my rear end. I’m always on the lookout on Etsy for funky skirts. I’ve actually purchased from this store before, I had two full skirts made and I love them! I got to pick my fabric and sent my measurements and voila! a skirt was born!! You can go super casual with your fabric or you can go super fancy if you want to wear one to a wedding…of course that’s the direction I went–one casual and one fancy..I mean I gotta have options!!
A great necklace can add that perfect POW to an otherwise blah outfit. I’ve been really stuck on long necklaces lately. I don’t feel like I’m choking and I just toss one or MAYBE even a few more and layer it up over a plain t shirt and I’m feelin’ like a million bucks!
Ladies, I have an addiction and it’s called turquoise. I think all I need to tell you is that I almost bought every single one of these items in the making of this post. But I didn’t. Que Milagro! I’m not making any promises for tomorrow.
I purchased a few of the items shown here in preparation for that whole toddler transitional security item thing. Specifically we own #1, #2 (ours is different colors and who we like to call Sid), #6, #8 (isn’t he adorable??)–I know I know, I’m super out of control…or am I so IN CONTROL of the planning, prepping, organizing of a lovey that it’s BLOWING YOUR MIND?! Though he plays with all of those a little here and there, he’s completely smitten with Elmo! WhodaTHUNKit?!
