So its a yearly tradition for me and Benjamin, a pretty badass one, and I love every bit of it.
Austin City Limits Music Festival. Three days of SHITTONSOFFUN. Lots of bands and bands and more bands (did I say drinks?). Its in Austin, Texas every year and if you love alternative, upcoming artists, this a a great music festival that I highly recommend.

A couple of weeks ago we did a post about our fav drink and that provoked some response from the readers on their favorites. Well a lovely little lady turned me on to the Vodka Gimlet. LOVE Em’
1 1/2 oz. vodka
1 oz. Lime Juice
Stir all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.
I’m not sure if it had to do with the amount of gimlets i consumed, but by the end of the night I was yelling and laughing GIMLET GRAVY repeatedly. That might just be a side effect of the drink. 🙂
China China! I can’t say enough how much I love Asian inspirtation. This shop has a very elegant take on Asian art and influence. AK pointed this out to me and I’m telling you, Its amasian!

Runner!?!? Baahahaha! I crack my damn self up!
Anywho, I’m no Betty Crocker and my table isn’t always “set”, but I like to keep things looking pretty snazy. AK and I were talking about investing in one of these. I’m thinking a runner, some votive candles, a few accents and my dinner table is good as new.
Next mission, get my cats to not screw the damn thing while I’m gone.
When do moms get to go back to school shopping? I know Aus got HOOKED up, and I am fallin hard for these fall essentials. I am definitely on the look out for some new pieces to add to my rotation and these have my name on them.
I used to love the HELL out of my cheesy ass beanbag. I literally loved it to death. Beans (white Styrofoam pellets) EVERYWHERE. After that, I’m pretty certain of a couple of things:
#1 I got cooler. #2 beanbags stayed the same level of coolness and/or dropped.
BUT…what I’m finding is that they’ve made a comeback? Or maybe got cooler? When did this happen? You tell me, do I need one of these?
Foot note: Also tell me if I’ve lost my damned mind loving on bean bags.
