Get Your Felt On

I see these felted necklaces all over Etsy and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them and think they would be perfect for fall/winter.  But what I wonder is, are they itchy? Anyone have one of these types of necklaces? Are they comfortable or annoying? Anyone? Anyone?

  2. Felted Red Necklace

Stud Muffin

Der did a post a while back on stud earrings and I felt like I needed to revisit the theory of less is more in the earring arena.  I’ve been gravitating towards studs lately because they sure are easy to wear.  Do you wear studs often? Do you go through phases?  I think I go through phases with studs FO SHO. And right now these are striking my fancy.

  2. Nordstrom, Kate Spade New York Triple Stone Stud Earrings
  3. Sundance Catalog, Luster and Smoke Earrings

Ring a Ding Ding Ding Dong

I love cocktail jewelry, I would rather take the money I’d spend on one piece of nice jewelry and buy upteen million pieces of cocktail jewelry. The one exception being my wedding ring, of course. Which still doesn’t fit post baby,by the way. (omg so annoying) So, until I can squeeze my sausage finger back into my ring, I’ll be sporting some pretty cocktailness on my finger. Are y’all real jewelry or cocktail gals?

  1. Charlotte Russe, Assymetrical Geode Ring
  2. Charlotte Russe, Gold Armor Ring
  3. Old Navy, Womens Cocktail Ring

Etsy Spotlight: Dreams and Jewelry

I stumbled across the Dreams and Jewelry store on Etsy when I was looking for jewelry to highlight on the blog, and I fell in love with almost everything in this store. The jewelry is designed by Andrea Bonelli, and she specializes in natural and eco-friendly jewelry, which I think we can all get behind!

$50 Fridays: Silly Name, Serious Pants

That’s right, you guessed it ladies. I am talking about jeggings. Jean leggings. Now I was skeptical of this trend when it first arrived, mostly because of the stupid name. But let me tell you, its probably the best trend to pop up EVER.  Let me break it down for you. Take the cute look of tight skinny jeans and add the comfort of pajama pants (i.e. the elastic waist band), and you get what might be the most comfortable pant ever made.  So go forth and eat as much as you want ladies, because these pants will stretch with you.  I am going to need at least 14 pairs…

Pretty Things at Every Price: Rings

Everyone needs a good chunky ring to add a little something extra to an outfit, and here are a few we all wouldn’t mind adding to ours!

  1. Melis, Ancient Cluster Ring: I would totally wear this ring because a) it would go with so many different outfits b) it’s not huge so it wouldn’t be in my way and c) its totally in my price range at under $5!
  2. Court, Atomium Ring: I love a huge ass funky ring.  This ring is totally me.  Love it, would wear this with a solid tee, some jeans and chucks.  LOVE.
  3. AK, Gold Plated Pink Quartz and Turquoise Ring: LOVE how chunky this ring is and there’s something about the combo of gold and turquoise that makes it sorta dressy.  I would definitely wear this on a night out on the town. Or sushi, whichever.
  4. Sarah, Cosmic Stack: This looks like such a nice/unique ring that you could actually wear on a daily basis! I like wearing chunkier and more interesting rings on my right hand and this would fit perfectly into my rotation…plus, LOVING the look of the copper!
