Fabric Necklace: Easy or Hard?

So I’ve had this Amy Butler Fabric Necklace free pattern saved as a project I’d like to do for a while now.  The delay? I’m scared! I’m SOOOOO not a sewing type of person. I did get a sewing machine for Christmas last year and I did take one “Get to know your sewing machine” class but I haven’t been very adventurous as of yet.  I would love to know if any of you have attempted one of these necklaces and if so, was it hard? If you think it was easy, are you an expert in sewing or a novice like me?

Etsy Spotlight: iomiss

I LOVE the custom photo necklace by iomiss.  I can just see my little guy’s sweet face on one of those!  I almost got so caught up in that necklace that I didn’t see the rest of what this shop had to offer and they have some GORGEEEEOUS stuff.  I especially love the Double Earrings…so many different colors!!
