My good ole’ bud AK approached me with a style dilemma just the other day… an after wedding casual event with friends with a budget of $25.00 for anything new and an abundance of options from her existing and already fabulous wardrobe.

Ok, I need some opinions…I have the J. Crew Jackie cardigan in black, turquoise, coral, orange, bright green, and a light brown. The boots are from left to right: wine, black/red, camel/pink/navy (but the pink/navy won’t show). And I’ll be wearing jeans.

So I set out on a mission. I browsed the forever21 site of all things incredibly cheap and most of the time uber cute and found an adorably delicious bow tie top that just was beckoning to be bought and put under a lovely cardigan.

My eyes were immediately drawn to the ORANGE on the bottom right… orange will be a lovely compliment to the green cardi. So.. here we have it folks. AK will be cute, casual and chic in the outfit we selected!

So my hubby bought this necklace for me for Mother’s Day this year. My calendar necklace from dalla nonna is the month of October and has my son’s birthday along with my wedding anniversary because they happened the same month 3 years apart! FTW!
Girls, drop the hint–its a super elegantly simple everyday necklace that your guy should totally buy you for an anniversary or your wedding or your first child. And guys (if any guys read this site) that means–if you are getting married, already are married or if your wife birthed your child from her very own loins either after hours and hours of painstaking labor or via scalpel because of a c-section, then you totally owe her.

Today’s Etsy shop, Beach Chik Designs went through the Tipsy Society like wildfire! Sarah purchased one of these for Der and then I purchased one of these for another friend! Sarah and I both bought them for wedding showers (for decor at the shower as well as a present to the bride & groom). They are completely customizable! I love the Date Canvases which you immediately think of for wedding dates. BUT what if your husband keeps forgetting your wedding date, get one for your anniversary so he NEVER forgets because its displayed right there on the wall or mantle! haha! OR the Number Canvas could easily be for a baby gift once the little one arrives–displayed in the baby’s room! LOVE LOVE LOVE the personalization!

Oh how I love cowboy boots….I love that they’re comfortable, I love that they’re cute, I love how I feel when I wear them…I could go on for DAYS! Of course some of you may be thinking, “She’s from Texas so of course she loves cowboy boots.” Not true, I love them for the simple fact that they’re AWESOME, and they seem to never go out of style!
So…If cowboy boots grew on trees, I would want this one planted in my backyard…
