So as I was browsing the catalogs and the internets the other day, I ran across all of these items separately and then realized that they all WENT TOGETHER, like as an outfit. Just add jeans, DONE!
Of course you do see the problem here right? I mean it all came together so easily, of course it would all be a bit more than I wanted to spend for a casual outfit.
I didn’t think to get a growth chart when my son was born to put in his room, but now I’m really contemplating one. I want to get one that would move with us because I know we won’t be in this house forever. My fav right now is #1. So tell me this, do you have a growth chart? If you have more than one kiddo, do you track their height on the same chart or different ones?
My BFF and Tipsy reader recently introduced me to Jenni 20 and I must admit, not only did I fall in love, but I automatically added this shop as one of my faves!
I’m a chronic traveler, even if it’s just across the state, and I’m always on the hunt for cute travel stuff. I think I’m going to snag a couple shoe bags and a laundry bag for myself…hmmm…I wonder who I could give these as gifts to!?!?
So you always want your place to look a little spruced up whenever throwing a shower at your own casa, right? Well, trouble being streamers-awful and so 1992, confetti -not so much, candles-blah, and its day time?
So, left me no choice but to go with these sweet tissue poms to add the perfect simple accent. It lets everyone know its party time (in Der’s nursery colors) in just the right way.
I will say the set up on these was a tad more time that I had thought, but completely worth it. Der even took home to hang in the nursery full time, so win win.
As Sarah said earlier, we threw Der a shower over the weekend. Us Tipsy gals love to throw a party! The inspiration for the party was Der’s nursery colors which were evident in the invitation. We just went ahead with that color scheme throughout including the cupcakes and cake!
We knew we were going to make cupcakes (yellow cake with cream cheese icing) for the guests but decided we wanted a little cake for the mommy and daddy to be as well. We also know the extent of our cake decorating skills and where they end. So we turned to Etsy, of course. We saw these adorable toppers from Two Sugar Babies and ended up with a variation on that. Tomorrow we will show you the “cake”scape and how adorable the toppers ended up…so stayed tuned!

Us Tipsy gals threw our BFF Der a fabulous (if I do say so myself) couples baby shower over the weekend, and we feel the need to share some of the details!
First up, the invitations…there were so many cute options out there, but we ended up going with one we found on Etsy by pixelstixshop. She had the JPEG already created, but used custom colors to match the decor of the shower (and the babies room)! After we had the JPEG in hand, we thought we would just have the invite printed on picture paper, but that turned out to be no bueno, so we went with a local printer that did a fantastic job and was really easy to work with…I mean, who doesn’t like to keep the local economy stimulated anyway!?!
Der loved the invitations and they ended up being the centerpiece for the rest of our decorations…stay tuned, more details to come!
I feel like with all this baby talk over at my crib, these doxies aren’t getting the spotlight like they have in the past. Although if they were taller, they could see the wall of their mugshots gracing my bambino’s nursery. Here are some weiner lover delights that I have stumbled upon as of lately.
Initial pendants are one of those simple and elegant pieces of jewelry that can be worn daily. They make great gifts for new moms, people getting married, and just people who like unique things. AK gave me this lovely piece for my most recent birthday and I have gotten tons of mileage out of it. Here are some other adorable and unique initials to check out.
I love me some cuff bracelets, probably because they typically fit my all too small wrists better than an actual bracelet, and I’ve been coveting these here lately!
So I’ve been eyeing some teepee tents lately for my kiddo. Do any of you have one? How stable are they? Do they knock over easily? The reason I ask…my little kiddo is like a steam roller when it comes to stuff like this, so I would need something pretty sturdy. I also want to be able to pick it up easily and put it away in a closet. Here are some teepees that I think are pretty darn cute…my fav is the personalized one!
