Huarache Love

Der was wearing some sandals the other day that I fell in LOVE LOVE LOVE with, but alas they aren’t available anymore…at least they aren’t online anymore and I didn’t see them at my local Target.  All of these are very reminiscent of Der’s, yet don’t have the price tag I’m really longing for.

Bold Bedding for Bambinos

I’m in the process of converting my son’s room into a “big boy” room and have definitely been drawn to bold stripes or solids for his bedding.  In my hunt for the perfect bedding I ran across Garnet Hill’s bedding and LOVE what they have going on with these bold stripes and polka dots.  Those bold striped shams are the bomb!

P.S. Did you know that Garnet Hill also has crib sheets! OMG

Garnet Hill Lust

I love the Garnet Hill catalog.  I like to flip through and dog ear all the pages of stuff I want.  This is sort of the same thing as going online and adding a crapload of stuff to your cart and then never buying it.  So anyway, if I were buying Garnet Hill stuff today, this is the stuff I would get.

  2. Garnet Hill, Chan Luu Multistrand Beaded Necklace
  3. Garnet Hill, Sarah Cavender Filigree Cuff

Go On, Get Your Bake On!

The month of December usually means full discretion to bake anything you normally wouldn’t throughout the rest of the year.  Ordinarily, you would feel bad about just randomly baking some creation at any other time of the year, but if it’s in DECEMBER it’s just commonplace that you are baking because it MUST mean it has something to do with a holiday tradition of some sort, am I right? (say yes)

And if you are like us Tipsy Girls, you want to look GOOD baking!  BAKING TIP:  throw a little flour on the apron as you are walking the plate of cookies over to your neighbor’s house even if they are slice and bake, they’ll think you’ve been baking for hours just for them!!

I Need Cardigan Anonymous

Hi, I’m addicted to cardigans.  I have a lot of cardigans.  One of the things that has fueled my addiction to cardigans is buying solid colors to ensure that I can wear them with as many outfits as possible.  What I’m seeing is that a cardigan can in fact be an accessory now what with all the ruffles, embroidery, stripes and prints available.  I need help, this has opened a whole new world for me.
