Holy Cowl

A cowl neckline is somewhat of a classic that’s been around for ages, but it seems to be stepping it up to center stage because I’m spotting a cowl every which way I look. I’m a fan and being universally flattering and feminine, you should be too. Although I am not ashamed to admit that as a child when my mother said cowl neck sweater I totally thought she said cow neck sweater. I never wanted a cow neck, so I wouldn’t dare wear whatever the hell she was talking about. I’ve learned me a few things since then.

Peasantly Surprised

You can ask anyone who sees me or my wardrobe on a regular basis and they will know that I gravitate towards the blousy type of top. I am not sure why, but I really do dig the look. I like it even when it’s not the cool thing to do. Anyway, I am in luck because peasant blouses are back in a big way with the 70s vibe for spring 2011. Check out all these cuties on my wishlist. Maternity 2.0

I wish people would tell you that you will essentially have 2 maternity wardrobes, and I’m currently on 2.0. I guess this may not be true for everyone, but I will tell you that I woke up one morning and over half of my maternity wear had turned to crop tops!
