Sometimes, well most of the time, I don’t wanna get out of those jammies! Here is a super cute lounge-wear outfit that will keep you looking chic while you take it easy.
I’m not generally a huge fan of getting in a bathing suit, so when I do, I gotta have a cover-up. And seeing as how I might be in a swimsuit a little more this summer because my kiddo loves the hell out of the baby pool, I’m probably going to need a stylin’ cover-up.
I talked this week about cobalt blue and all it’s potential. Then, BAM. I saw this cute little beach dress in what do you know? Cobalt blue!
Cobalt blue is a great basic color on so many people. Brunettes looking just as stunning as blondes and red heads. Bring out those baby blues with some cobalt blue accented with yellow or turquoise. If you are feeling patriotic…throw on some red and white too.
If What Not To Wear has taught me anything.. it’s that coral is one of the most universally flattering colors on women. Coral is great paired with a splash of turquoise jewelry. It can be sophisticated with neutrals like khaki or gray and if you are brave enough, accent it with something yellow or lime.
If we are going to be attending one of these fabulous outdoor fiestas that AK keeps ranting and raving about…well, we need something festive to wear!

A lot of people shy away from wearing shades of yellow, but it’s all about finding your right shade. Wearing yellow can turn your frown upside down. It goes well with other brights like red or turquoise, but it looks equally great with neutrals like black or gray.
I’m not a hoochie shorts kinda gal. All summer long you can find me in my bermudas and flops. Add this adorable bow blouse and I’m set!
