Baby Flops

I have no idea how people keep shoes on baby’s pudgy little feet. If you have any tips, please let me know because shoes are flying off left and right over here. Even with that considered, I am thinking that this summer will be the perfect time to introduce AJ to his mama’s shoe of choice: the flip flop. Toys for Girls and Boys

Alex Toys has some of the most fun looking toys I’ve ever seen. I mean, if I were a baby or a kiddo I would be ALL OVER THEM. Like white on rice, I kid you not. I think we need to add one of each of these to our rapidly growing toy chest.

Round Top Roundup 2011

This past weekend I joined Tipsy ladies Court and Der on their annual trip to the big antiques/craft show in Round Top, Tx. Unfortunately, the other half of the Tipsy Society were unable to attend due to all the babies being born around here.  We drank too much beer, spent too much money, and ultimately had a blast. Here are some memories from that day…

We learned from the lady at the gas station, who may or may not have been drinking on the job, that Round Top is officially the smallest town in Texas

Court obtained a new tool to go along with her mini champagne, and a cute new wristlet.

We came prepared with a travel beer cooler to help us make it through the day.

Court hesitated about this giant red bowl, and Der swooped in and bought it.

She also found a very cute personalized blanket for Aiden.

I found a cute little green end table for dirt cheap.

And Court splurged on a beaded cross cuff bracelet, which she talked about every 5 minutes for the rest of the day.

Etsy Spotlight: Tweet Baby Designs

I have a teethingasaurus at my house. It’s a new beast that’s turned my sweet angel faced baby into a drool covered piranha seeking anything and everything he can put in his mouth STAT. I had heard the idea of a teething necklace before, but when I came across these from Tweet I was head over heels. I have all but basically stopped wearing jewelry because my little one tugs on everything or puts it in his mouth. This would be for mommy AND the drool king. I didn’t even think twice, just snatched one up immediately. Perfecto!

Ring My Neck

I have a spring/summer staple in the form of a ring my neck style top. Yes, that’s the official term. You know what I’m talking about. It’s sorta like a halter, but not tying in the back. I must own a bajillion of them and I still keep my eye out for more and more. What can I say, I love what I love.
