Which of these should I be reading next.
Ak and I often read together so that we talk and rant about the books at the same time. This became a favorite passtime with the Twilight Saga books, but I am looking for our next high.
If you have even better suggestions, throw em my way. I prefer a good, fast, dark read-but am open to just about anything.
Sarah has posted on our monthly Keno games before and this was the hot item that was stolen out of many hands at our last game. I mean what girl doesn’t need a mirror in her purse that also is so funny it cracks her shit up everyday? I mean we could all use a little humor in our lives. AMIRITE?

For my hubby: (1) A new knife because you love cooking me dinner every night and because this was under the “new” section at Sur la Table so I’m positive you don’t have this one yet. And also, the latest and greatest (2) iPhone because I know you want one even though you haven’t said anything to me about it.
For my Dad: (3) This rotating water broom thing. It just screams YOU.
For my Bro: I know you are working on your house a ton, so I figure you might need (6) something in this arena.
For my Father-in-Law: A (5) Golf Cabbie Hat, because I think they look cool and because you play golf. I think that means you’d look cool playing golf with this on…so WIN WIN!
What I ended up getting everyone: Pictures of your son/grandson/nephew from (4) Portrait Innovations. You know you love them!
I want a diaper bag that doesn’t really resemble a diaper bag, if you know what I mean. I want a cute purse like bag that can house both my crap and my child’s crap at the same. Maybe I won’t be able to carry around 18 lip glosses and 2 pairs of sunglasses anymore, but I don’t want a purse AND a diaper bag situation. So, here are some I am highly interested in. PA-LEASE let me know if anyone has any experience with any of these or any others that I may have missed! I am personally leaning heavily towards #1.
On a whim, while I was browsing Barnes & Noble* a few weeks back, I ran across these Sesame Street board books as a set called My First Library. They were a HIT at my household. Somebody who will remain nameless ran around our house yelling COOKIE! COOKIE! EGGO! OSSER! So the other day I was in B&N again and as I was walking out I saw they had a whole crapload of these My First Library sets in all sorts of themes. And guess who is kicking herself for not buying the Toy Story one. Stupid Stupid Stupid.
*I couldn’t find these on B&N’s website but I found identical ones on these other sites listed above. B&N stores had a buttload of them though…
I’m not even sure if camo is “in” or not these days, but that doesn’t stop me from loving it from the depths of my soul. I’m about to run my prego butt over to see if I can pull off these drawstring camo shorts ASAP. Keep your fingers crossed my friends!
I’m starting to think in advance to my hospital stay coming up in a few months. Yes, I’m panicking about many things: epidurals, possible c-sections, the health of my baby… and the condition of my bathrobe. Ladies, it’s not looking too good on the robe front over here. I think I must get a new one for the baby’s visitor’s sake. It’s only fair. Here are a few sassy numbers that I’m considering.
I like green, it’s probably is my second favorite color. Kelly green is so simple and original… it’s the color of grass. It looks great as an accent. AK carries a fabuloso green handbag and it pretty much looks the bomb with everything. I like wearing it with crisp white and accented with navy or cobalt blue. Here’s a sampling of some greeness that’s pretty much to die for.
Call me a late bloomer, but I just discovered canvas storage bins or fabric drawers. And I can tell you that there are some fun and functional ones out there. Bet your sweet one that I’ll be filling my closets, cabinets and nursery with these puppies!
I have never really been a pink type of girl. I like pink, but I don’t LOVE pink. When I was little, my favorite color was purple. I wanted purple everything. My first car was even purple (no idea what I was thinking) So, purple is still near and dear to my heart. Purple looks great accented with oranges or greens and my personal fav turquoise!
